When replacing telephone poles, National Grid and/or Verizon are not removing the old telephone poles....this looks unsightly throughout Albany. I have seen this along western ave, mercer st and so pine.... National Grid is simply cutting just a few feet off the old pole and leaving it side by side with the new pole. I cannot imagine that they have permission from the City of Albany to do this.
