The City of Oakland Public Works Department has received this issue. It is registered as service request # 529939. Please check back for status updates or contact us directly at (510) 615-5566.
There are two sets of homeless campers (4+ people) who sleep, defecate and urinate in Oak Glen Park nearly every night. The male/female couple who sleep at the entrance are presumably the ones who also urinate all over the stairs and landing nearby.
Perhaps better lighting on and around the entrance, walkway and stairs would help prevent the homeless issues which are becoming more problematic.
