Description

I would like to know what is holding up the construction project at Discovery and Whitestone Blvd. No work has been done in months. I don't see how the minimal amount of widening that is ongoing is going to solve the traffic backup when trying to turn East off of Discovery/Town Center which is the main problem at this intersection. Also there needs to be a cut through to allow traffic to go North back into the Traffic circle instead of having to go down to the light and make a U-Turn which further complicates traffic. Also westbound cars turning right onto discovery conflict with those trying to U-turn. The entire section needs to be completely reworked and two additional feet of turning lane is not going to cut it.
