Description
the stop signs are egnored and people speed thru them we need a temperary speed bump installed so it can be removed in the winter. I've seen them on Mentor streets behind outback. This would stop the speeders and the people who drive thru the stop signs.. The police aren't here enough or know all the people doing this, never see a ticket written.

speed bumps do two things, 1- slows cars down. 2-stop at stop signs, they can be temperary so they can be removed for winter plowing. hey boogie board you can also use them as an incline ramp

Are you talking about on Driftwood or on Marine Pkwy? I drive through this intersection all the time, and have never witnessed anyone driving through the stop sign, nor speeding through. What I have noticed is people parking on Driftwood too close to the stop sign. You are not supposed to park within 30 ft of stop signs, yet people constantly park there. If there's a problem with people stopping, maybe they have no place to stop without being in the wrong lane (left of center). I do see people speeding down the stretches all over the neighborhood, but not at the stop sign. If two sections with 'deaf child' signs up won't slow them down, neither will speed bumps.
