The street light in front of 38 Campbell Street is still out and the street light next to Child and Family Services on Campbell Street is now also out. This is two lights in a row that are now out and makes the street very dark at night.

The street light in front of 38 Campbell Street and the next street light (next to Child and Family Services building) closer to Pleasant Street are still out. Last week a car that was parked on Campbell Street, between these two lights, was intentionally set on fire. These lights have been out for almost six months and continue to pose a public safety risk.

November 4, 2022 and the street lights are still out. This neighborhood needs functioning street lights, it has a high occurrence of crime. One picture is looking west towards State Street and the second is looking east towards Pleasant Street along Child and Family Services.

To be clear TWO (2) City of New Bedford street lights on Campbell Street (between State and Pleasant Street) have been out since January, 2022.
