Description

The NE corner of MLK & Francisco St is constantly flooded. There is a storm drain inlet on the Francisco Street side but the curb by MLK is constantly flooded whenever it rains. There is no storm drain on the MLK side and the street appears to be sloped the wrong direction so water accumulates with nowhere to drain to. Further causing an issue is that the adjacent sidewalk curb is below grade and only 1" high so water will spill over from the street onto the sidewalk and ADA pedestrian curb ramp. PW Engineering may need to have this corner added on a future project list to see how to drain / fix the corner flooding.
