This is a super common issue in Cambridge I’ve noticed. So many cross walks have huge puddles in front of them. Why is Cambridge so bad with designing water drainage for pedestrians?
I understand old intersections may have poor designs, but this is a brand new cross walk!
Why was the proper grade for water drainage never considered here in the design?
It’s clear Cambridge takes very little consideration into pedestrians in any planning.

If this was a flooded intersection for vehicles, this would have been fixed by now. It would not stay flooded for months.
