2 months ago a group of young male students used their higher education to design a outdoor pool in the front yard This pool was made of cardboard and, I think, trash liners. Ingenious.
Problem is, clean up was not so fun. Now, what was amusing is front yard debris and it represents a major eyesore on a major street, directly across from our major asset, the U of A.
If the City can't deal with these issues for the benefit of the appearance of our community, you should disable all of the aesthetic requirements build into our zoning code. This is awful and the tenants and owners, along with staff and Council who drive by this every day, should be embarrassed.
It takes a form letter and a knock on the door by a code enforcement staffer.
Lets not be hobo.

For those of you who want to debate architectural style, perhaps draw in a breth of what our city looks like from the campus.

Continues to not be addressed.
If you need a code or public safety issue, the staff should familiarize themselves with the building codes that require that outdoor pools of water require fencing.
The tenant's rights include displaying this "water feature" in his rear yard. Not subjecting the rest of Tucson that takes pride in property ownership, would be an appropriate role for municipal government.
PLEASE prioritize. Minimally, let me know if this is not going to be addressed.
