The Town of Malta took over maintenance from the developer of St. Ledger's Woods. Since the takeover, this beautiful piece of property is no longer the enjoyable nature walk it once was. Although the wildlife and wildflowers are present, the paths are overgrown and the weeds are taking over the bench and deck lookouts. A real shame. Perhaps Malta can sponsor some volunteer cleanup days with a planned schedule for maintenance. Many Malta residents would be happy to oblige!
