Description

Loud, outdoor music at almost all hours of the day; flood lights that shine into neighboring condominiums.

also asked...
Q. What is the actual problem being encountered?
A. The residents at 800 W Hutchison play music in their front and back yards constantly, whether or not they're home, and the music from the backyard keeps the residents at 4240 N Clarendon Avenue from being able to work during the day or sleep at night. They also have installed flood lights in their backyard that are so bright, it's hard to sleep at night; looking out the windows is a blinding experience. The neighbors have been left letters and have been spoken with both kindly and firmly, and have no interest in solving the problem. First, we would like to have the music brought indoors. The backyard music, loud, and even on the occasions when it is moderate, makes home life miserable for all surrounding neighbors, and the flood lights are both tacky and sleep-depriving. We feel like prisoners in our own homes because of these two issues.
Q. Give precise address - floor or unit #
A. 800 W Hutchison St. Backyard especially, and also front yard. Note; they have high walls on the street that prevents the music from appearing loud to outsiders, but from the condominiums behind, it's impossible to ignore.
Q. Is anyone in danger because of this condition?
A. No
