Description
The 800-900 blocks of Garey Ave is virtually littered with potholes that the city occasionally fills with loose asphalt thats only washed away with the next shower or heavy rain. Permanent repair is desired as this street is used heavily by local traffic as well as motorists accessing 516.

NO, AS PREVIOUSLY STATED, THEY (THE CITY) SEND OUT A CREW TO PUT SOME
LOOSE ASPHALT IN HOLES (SOME OVER 6'' DEEP), TAMP IT DOWN WITH THE
BACKS OF SHOVELS, COVER THAT WITH A SPRINKLING OF SAND SO THAT THE
ASPHALT ISN'T PULLED OUT OF THE HOLES BY CAR TIRES. SAME AS HAVE BEEN
DONE OVER THE YEARS, INSTEAD OF A PROFESSIONAL FIX ! ! ! ! ! ! !!!!

As stated in my initial contact letter; all that has been done is what has been done in the past. They pack the hole with loose asphalt, cover it with sand and move on to the next project. The only difference this time is that the holes were "over-packed". Pretty soon, that too will wash away. A proper fix as I've seen in various locations in the city is for the area around the holes be cut out, the road bed treated, allowed to settle etc.

CREWS HAVE REPAIRED THE HOLES IN THE MANNER THAT I PREVIOUSLY
STATED, AND . . . THE ASPHALT HAS COME OUT OF SOME OF THEM, ONLY TO
PRESENT THE SAME OLE UGLY POTHOLES ! ! ! ! !
