I would like to point out that this is a domino effect of the lane closures on Park street diverting traffic to Broadway, which is now tied-up in congestion, and consequently spills over to Regent.

Agreed! Also Park Ave speed bumps would be good to stop the speeding

I agree with above commenters as we are on Broadway between Central and Encinal. Everyday there is at least one near miss with folks racing the traffic lights. Similarly, I've seen more than one USPS semi trucks lock tires for the Broadway/Encinal light.
