- go and watch the "fun" of trying to get access to 6th Ave from Southwood when there is an event happening at Art Hauser Center, Bingo traffic in/out, and/or when people are attempting to cross at the crosswalk at this intersection.

We do not need more lights in pa people need to use some common sense and plan an alternate route during peak traffic times. There is 2 southbound lanes on 6th so turn right into the nearest lane as people turning left from the Art Hauser centre turn into their nearest lane when it is busy and use your alternate route.
Thios corner is brutal. Lights are needed. Also I hate when people signal before the intersection and drive straight through and turn into the Bingo parking lot. Do not signal like your turning onto southwood and then go through the intersection. Accidents waiting to happen here.
i agree lights r needed its a accident waiten to happen. When the city takes over the land south of city and a timmy goes in lights will be needed anyways city might as well do it now befor a bad accident. To bad for people who might have to stop at a light sure you wont miss that 2mins of your time. Could be your wife, husband , kids, friends could get in accident bet you wont complain about lights there then
That intersection needs lights. At the very least a controlled cross-walk. Raider game patrons, kids heading to the skate park, Trail walkers and bikers all need a safe point to cross.
Why would any body want more ;oghts in this city until the works department learns how to time them. How many times have you driven down 15th st or 2nd ave and had each and every light turn red just as you get to it? Go to Saskatoon or any other city and you can usually drive through many lights before hitting a red.
Take another route? I live on Southwood, and surprise, surprise, it isn't just there for other people's convenience- some of us have no choice but to drive it! I work in the east part of the city and it is absolutely ridiculous to try to get on to 6th Ave. in the morning. They absolutely need lights. There is far too much going on there for traffic to be able to flow properly without. (Bingo, Carlton, Art Hauser, not to mention all the people who use it as a speedway/short cut to avoid traffic and lights/signs on other streets)
