Investigating

The branches on this tree were swaying so much in the storm last night, very dangerous. If any of those branches come down, they are huge and will cause a lot of damage, it will hit my house, my neighbors house, or possibly a car parked in the street. There are also electrical wires it may fall on. Just want to make sure that no person or property gets hurt or damaged. Thanks!

I see this was marked as “investigating” and I just noticed an orange mark painted on this tree, does this mean it is going to be cut down?

Yes, this tree has been added to our removal list. We have an extensive backlog of problem trees due to the fact that we were unable to remove many last year during the pandemic. we are doing all we can to catch up quickly but it could take time for us to get to this individual tree. we appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

My neighbor across the street just contacted me and told me they are cutting his trees down today, I have not heard anything back on this ticket since 10/7/21. Do you know if my tree is scheduled to be cut down as well? And if so, when? It is hanging way over the street, very dangerous.

This was not on the winter list but I am going to try and get ahold of our contractor now and add it if possible.

I just wanted to THANK YOU for getting my tree on the winter list. They removed most of the tree, I feel so much better now that it is not sticking out in the street or over my roof. I really appreciate it! Have a great Holiday!!

I figured I’d put this out there just in case they are still working on the trees. I totally understand if they can’t get to it now, but the small tree in front of my house on 119th St is now leaning over the sidewalk, blocking the walk way. Here’s a pic.
