Description
Series of potholes in front of 122 and 128 Vicente Road. These potholes continue to re-appear due to water erosion.
Before the Oakland Hills Fire, the gutter was sloped to drain to the storm drain 20 feet away at the corner of Vicente Road and Vicente Place.
Since the fire, the gutter drains into the road. The residence at 128 Vicente Road has five sump pumps that regularly discharge large amounts of water into the gutter and then onto the roadway. This continual water flow on the asphalt erodes the roadway, resulting in these recurring potholes.
1) Please repair potholes.
2) Consider engineering a solution to carry the water to the storm drain, like it was before the Fire, so that the road will last and not need repair again and again.
Thank you!
