Health Department assigned this issue to ISD - 4 - Sanitary Inspector

This is an ongoing situation that has been reported to the ward councilor, mayor, police, property owner, etc. Its been cleaned multiple times but someone keeps dumping again. A sign was posted and a fence was put up.

We as a community need to be vigilant and keep an eye out on the property. This is why Neighborhood Watch programs are needed. Can any of the businesses move a camera and point it at the dumping area? A police officer patrolling the area a little more often as well.

Agreed, good suggestions Alex. There is a fresh pile of trash there this morning. There is a storage facility next to CVS, and most of the trash is furniture and clothes. Sure begs the question is someone cleaning out storage units? It’s a shame this keeps happening. Every time somewhere in Brockton gets cleaned up another area gets trashed. As a life long resident it pains me to see this.

The storage center should have cameras as well at least who's coming and going. Good thinking!

Ordinance7 re-inspected this property, 178 Oak St, on 29.July.2021. The trash was removed by the property owner. I have been monitoring this situation and inspecting this property daily since the beginning of this event. I am in daily communication with the owner of this property and numerous City department heads and Police regarding this situation.
