Description
As has been the case multiple times previously, the retention pond in the Wellington neighborhood overflows into our back yard. The water rushes over the berm and causes a river of water as much as 5 to 6 inches deep to flow across our backyard, around the side of our house, and rushes through our front yard and onto the street. Doug Myers (spelling?) from Public Works/Stormwater Management was out with a crew working on the retention ponds on June 11th and again on June 14th and I went out and spoke with him both days, explaining the flooding problems we had in the past. He said that they were going to use the backhoe that they had on the property at that time to reopen an overflow from the pond behind our home that had become overgrown. However, they did not do that, and we had tremendous flooding issues today that I am concerned are affecting the foundation of our home. Each time in the past when our yard has been flooded, we have contacted the Public Works office, and nothing gets done. Can someone please contact me about this problem? Thank you, Bill
