An old garage collapsed in the lot of two old mill houses on Jewett Street this winter. Most of the resultant debris has not been removed by the property owner. It is hazardous and a blight, and it has been this way for months.

Still not fixed.

Still not removed. Owner removed some debris in May, but there is still a hazardous pile there.

The garage is not at 72 Jewett, it is at 68 Jewett.

Thanks for clarifying that. Had to use Google maps to get the address originally. It still is not fixed, and it sure would be great if the City would cite the landlord to make this happen.

Fixed now, or mostly fixed, but owner now appears to be rebuilding the structure a few cinder blocks at a time. Is there a building permit? Seems to be going up in a haphazard way... Should at least be checked on.
