    The roads in this area are absolutely ridiculous. They did work all summer long and the roads need to be paved immediately. The corner of Zion and Grove is absolutely atrocious and is going to take someone's front end off their car if they dont go as slow as possible. There are holes everywhere and it's ridiculous.

    It's been two weeks since first reported and nothing has been done to fix this pothole in our street.
  • Mill Road Northfield, New Jersey - Northfield
    Dozens of aging gas line dig outs on Mill Rd. are settling and creating very bumpy unsafe driving conditions.
    Why didn't county street dept. lay down a new asphalt road surface with curbs and sidewalks from Mazza's to New Rd. while doing the intersection of Mill Rd. and Fire Rd.? Is the construction company who put in new gas service for local residents responsible for maintaining the road and leaving it in a better condition than when they started the project? Northfield can be a beautiful gateway to the ocean.

    Low lying area in street/ gutter area between 532 and 530 Ridgewood Drive which floods into street yards and driveways every time it rains, causes dangerous ice areas in winter and is a nuisance throughout the year. There is a drain directly across the street which does nothing to alleviate this side of the street flooding.

    In both Cul-de-sac's Atrium Court and Magnolia Court there are up to a 1/2" wide expansion/contraction cracks that span across the Cul-de-sac's. I have reported this to councilman Jim O'Neil a few months ago via phone call. Could you please come out and verify and correct per City Engineers specifications while we have the proper weather.

    Big pothole on the West side of Mill rd & RT9 intersection
  • 36-38 Jackson Avenue Northfield, New Jersey - Northfield
    Alley that runs from Jackson to Roosevelt on the unit block is overgrown and lacks gravel, causing craters. Should be paved like the parallel alley on the 100 block.

    There is a huge pothole at the end of my driveway. The gentlemen from the Street Dept. were there today. It can not be fixed with just putting some asphalt in it. The hole doesn't look that bad now because my son filled it in with dirt. But, that will wash away when we have the next rainstorm. I am scraping the bottom of my car every time I use my driveway. Please help!!

    At the corner of Shepherd Crl W. and Rt 9 on the south side of Shepherd and the west side of 9 (in front of Dr. Clark's Dentistry practice) exists a very large 4'x8' area of street were the paving has eroded away leaving a large hole that is nearly always filled with water. There is also a large about of loose gravel. When pulling out of the intersection the gravel gives way and causes tires to spin out. This is a large safety concern as the spin outs may result in an accident. Further, the pot hole is cause damage to personal property through excessive wear and tare on vehicles. Please address immediately.
