    For the life of me, i cannot imagine why one of these apartments has a guy out front and a guy out back all night long. like some kind of lookout. Strange comings and goings. i can see them from my window and he appears to be talking on his phone and pacing about. never hanging up and never not talking. Everyone going in or out is looking around all the time.. If I were a betting woman, I would say someone maybe needs to check out what these guys are carrying in and out at night.

    Neighbors across the street let their dog bark, starting anywhere from 5:30am to 6:30am for over an hour straight nearly every single morning. We both work, and this takes 1-2 hours of sleep from us every morning. We have heard another neighbor yell at the dog while this was happening, so we know we aren't the only ones. The dog is extremely loud, and we wake up with headaches regularly now because of this. 909 W Pecan St. is their address.

    The old high school building adjacent to the Boys and Girls Club has been condemned and is worse than ever. There are always windows being opened from the inside all the time and tagging going on. It is a magnet for the homeless. People in this town have no idea how bad the inside of this building is. I understand that some council members want to preserve the building. Have they been inside or smelled it or seen what a detriment it is to the neighborhood. Carbondale, let's move on getting this building demolished. If you can afford to demolish what's left of the church next to city hall then you can afford to demolish this building. It is only fair to those of us who have made this neighborhood our home.
