    SIGN HAS BEEN DAMAGED.

Unable to read about its imminent removal

    Perfectly healthy. ON HORTON STREET.

    Horton hears a who.
A Who who speaks for the trees than cannot stand against those who would test them down.

1520 Park Ave Emeryville, CA, 94608, USA - Emeryville
Two large trees on the NE and NW corners of Park Ave and Hubbard Street fell down and have yet to be replaced. The NW tree should be a higher priority because it shades western facing lofts in the Emeryville Warehouse Lofts building.

The beautiful tree that was here has been illegally removed (after being knocked down weeks ago by a storm). Will the city replace it?

Note to Public Works: According to both EPD and local property management, this tree was City property (not private property).

  • 4301-4699 Hubbard St Emeryville, CA, 94608, USA - Emeryville
The newly planted street trees around the Emery are all dying due to improper installation- their root balls are all above ground. The city should hold the developer accountable for such shoddy workmanship- how sad to see a living tree dying because of carelessness.
  • 1016 47th St Emeryville, CA 94608, USA - Gaskill
Massive eucalyptus tree leaning at a precarious angle directly towards a children's playground. If the tree falls, kids will die. Large branches directly overhead also drop dangerous branches regularly. The leaning tree needs to go ASAP as an imminent life safety issue, and the other high branches need trimming.

I have written in the past about the 4 street trees on Vallejo along the side of my property at 1250 63rd St. Not only are they dead or dying and very unattractive but they also pose a THREAT as other trees of their variety/vintage/health have fallen in the neighborhood. ALSO some of their branches scrape cars that are parking next to them...I would like to see them removed, ideally replaced with healthy young trees to make our city greener and healthier.
