Additional trees are being cleared in the northern end of this property. There are no clearing permits posted near the entrance to the property. It appears that about 4-8 trees are being taken down and stumps are being removed. This activity can be seen from North Town Drive NE along the drive.
  • 336 Ferncliff Ave Ne Bainbridge Island, WA, 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island
I live at 125 Ferncliff Ave Unit E-344 (3rd floor). Diamond Parking light #40 located at the entrance to the Ferry Terminal building on pole #SLAH6975 violates outdoor lighting code 18.15.040. High Intensity light shines up and into my bedroom & living room. Flood light shines up not down and is it is not shielded. I have attempted to resolve this with Diamond Parking, B.I. Ferry Terminal Supervisor and B.I. Public Works without success. This floodlight also shines into the public park & heritage trees at Harbor Square. Very annoying
  • 5191 Taylor Ave Ne Bainbridge Island, WA, 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island
New neighbors on corner of Taylor and Ronald have erected a fence within public right-of-way on south side of Ronald Ct. and possibly on Taylor Ave as well. Also looks like they have been filling in drainage swale on south side of property. Area is very wet for 9 months of the year and this could cause hydrologic/flooding problems for their house as well as nearby homes.
  • 671 Madison Ave N Bainbridge Island, WA, 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island
This development and workers have been in non-compliance many, many times. It began with the initial clearing which also began before 7 and continued past 7. They have not repaired the sidewalk across the street and have not replanted the vegetation. What are the consequences? Apparently none, since they continue without concern for the law.
  • 11371 Blue Heron Ln Ne Bainbridge Island, WA, 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island
The dog barks at all hours of the day and night. We, along with a number of our neighbors on the west side of Manzanita Bay, have filled out barking logs and have mailed them to Animal Control. The dog can even be heard all the way on the west side of Battle Point Park.
We were told by BIPD to report this issue by calling 911. We did and animal control was notified of the issue. Animal Control told us to contact our City Councilmember even after a number of the homeowners in our neighborhood have mailed in the required backing logs. On a separate occasion, we spoke to a BIPD officer at Battle Point Park. He informed us to make contact with the owner.

  • 5191 Taylor Ave Ne Bainbridge Island, WA, 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island
Fence on Taylor and Ronald erected by a non-licensed contractor. Workers' truck had no markings and owners are unwilling to discuss.
  • 5741 Ne Foster Rd Bainbridge Island, WA, 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island
North side of house has empty containers, furniture, appliances and scrap materials. Back of the house has the same assortment of junk going into the woods. Has a junk pile in the car port but it has been covered by a tarp. Rat and racoons have been seen in and around the junk piles.
  • Harbor Square Loop Ne Bainbridge Island, Washington, 98110 - Bainbridge Island
Light intrusion violation. These lights shine directly into the the NW condos at Harbor square from the BLIS condos along Cave Ave. Residents are complaining that they come on at dusk and remain on until dawn, filling the North facing units of Harbor Square with unwanted light.
  • 14235 Sunrise Dr Ne Bainbridge Island, Washington, 98110 - Bainbridge Island
Fence posts and caps are between 7.5' and 8.0' high. We hoped they would finish the fence by cutting the posts to fence heights as is normal but instead they have placed fancy caps on top of the illegally height posts.
  • 5591 Battle Point Dr Ne Bainbridge Island, Washington, 98110 - Bainbridge Island
This is the third time I have reported an abandoned car in the woods between Battle Point Drive and the home at this address in approximately 3 years. It is now completely covered in vegetation. The area is served by wells, and the car could be leaking hazardous substances. While this has been acknowledged (Feb 2022) nothing has been investigated or done about it.
  • 14235 Sunrise Dr Ne Bainbridge Island, WA, 98110, USA - Bainbridge Island
According to Public Works Development Engineering Review Conducted 7/14/2020 for 14283 Sunrise Dr NE, "Leyland cypress are to be planted on the outside vegetative buffer" only on this site. As can be seen in the photo, the cypress have already cleared the fence on the north enterior boundry of the 14235 Sunrise NE land and will soon block sunlight on areas on the south of our property.
