    Our entire neighborhood community is *SO* tired of the foul pet food stench CONSTANTLY emanating from Darling International. It has been a hot midsummer and many of us don't have air conditioning - we can't even open our windows to cool down in the evening/morning without the stench of rendering pet food in the air. Since their equipment failed a few years ago, they have NEVER properly repaired it. It's awful! What is the City of Tacoma doing about this?? The next step will be reaching out to the WA Attorney General's Office since the City can't seem to get them to stop/install proper equipment. Possibly hasn't even bothered to try to get them to stop? No one should have to deal with this kind of horrible smell all the time.

    When will something be done.

    White Chevy Silverado truck with front passenger side damage including broken wheel left on the side of 56th Street just past d Street going west. Appears to be damaged telephone pole One telephone pole East of the truck with chunks of wood everywhere not sure not sure if this truck is stolen or not but either way it appears that it probably took out a chunk of the telephone pole before pulling over

    FIRES being lit in the brush for warmth during a 85 degree day This risk to my community and property is unacceptable The police need to respond to these fires to work with the unhoused to get them the assistance needed or STOP lighting fires when there's a burn ban in the dry brush

    Apex Building B has had garbage backed up in the trash chute all the way to the 5th floor for over 3 weeks Every floor has trash piled up in the chute room. Horrible smell with small bugs flying in the hallways. I have requested many time over the weeks to get the garbage removed from the chute with no resolution. We are living in a toxic, unhealthy environment. Can the Tacoma Health Department help?..
