Business appears to be operating late at night here (warehouse building at the corner of Apgar/West) with cars coming and going at all hours, dumping of contents from inside building out into the street, vehicles parked on and blocking the sidewalk, and an incredible amount of noise at all hours

    Our neighbor leaves his Akita in backyard to bark and howl day-&-night. I have made several attempts to speak with them, but he refuses. Received his phone number from his upstairs neighbor whom also is fed up. I made a formal complaint with county which temporally worked, but the barking started again. It has now been as early as 3:00am, and into the entire day. The other challenge is once the barking starts it ignites all the other neighborhood dogs.

    Cyclists heading west on Lake Merritt Blvd frequently run red lights at the 11th St & 13th St intersections. This occurs even when pedestrians are in the crosswalks at these intersections. Please consider initiating enforcement actions at these locations. These cyclists don't seem to worry about following traffic rules or about the possibilty of their actions causing injury to pedestrians. Hopefully the threat of citations and fines will result in more civic-minded behavior on their part.

    All the above: junk, blight, homeless, drugs, tags, streets,...Clawson area is just a huge dump. With the new bridge, the new port, this area needs to be a priority. West Oakland has the best location (accessibility, weather,...) in the bay area. Dear Mayor please make it easier for owners and investors to get rid of squatters so they can rent to honest working citizens, attract new businesses by making it financially attractive to move in the neighborhood. Very quickly this will bring more tax money to the city.

    Not sure how this falls into play but this has been left this way for about 10 days. There's no under pinning at the top of the excavation, trees are at the edge, there's also construction debris at top of excavation area that could fall. There's also debris blocking the sodewalk at their garage and possibly someone squatting in there.

    They have also built over burnt wood from the fire at the original house. Seems substandard and quote dangerous

  • Macarthur Freeway Oakland, California - Cleveland Heights
    Fence adjacent to road and sidewalk here fencing off the I580 overpass needs repair as there are holes in the fence and people are now sleeping underneath the highway in holes under the concrete inside the fence line. Area bounded by Lakeshore, MacArthur and lake Park ave. In addition caltrans should be notified to repair the holes that are now under the concrete overpass inside this fence line to prevent damage to structure. These can be easily seen walking around this overpass.
