  • 61-63 Bay Forest Drive Oakland, CA 94611, USA - Merriwood
When it rains water breaks the mud and it washes into the street. This is on the fire road near bay forest drive. Someone tries to fix it, but it needs professional help.
  • 2278 Ransom Ave Oakland, CA 94601, USA - Harrington
This issue has been reported many times. The next intersection, Ransom & Lyon has been replaced and this issue remains. During the winter when this was flooding the issue was closed with no action, now its summer...
  • 121 Pine Hills Lane Oakland, CA - Shepherd Canyon
This is probably my 4th request for assistance. I live at 121 Pine Hills Lane. And there has been standing water for the past two years that I have lived here. The standing water is behind my house where my property buts up to skyline Blvd. every time I make a request from the city to come out, you say that it is an Ebmud issue. When I call Ebmud, they don't see a problem. I now see mosquitos breeding in the water. No one knows where the leak is coming from but someone needs to figure it out. Not only am I afraid of sink holes but now I am afraid of mosquitos since there is a Zika problem
  • 7001 Greenly Dr Oakland, CA 94605, USA - Eastmont Hills
LAKE GREENLY. Then it rains hard, several inches of water accumulate in the gutter on the south corner at the intersection of Edwards and Greenly. There is no drain at the corner, however there is a drain ~50 ft west on Edwards. Cars driving through disperse the water by an hour or two after the rain stops. The lake fills up with 10 or 15 minutes of heavy rain. Drain perhaps Engineered incorrectly or the earth has moved in the last 50 years.
  • Armour Drive Montclair, Oakland, CA, USA - Montclair
This cul de sac, caused by a landslide in the 80s is constantly flooded - creating a mosquito hazard year round and risking further landslides
  • 6210 Laird Ave Oakland, California - Millsmont
Today, October 1st, the water is draining and flowing again from 6210 Laird. I think this is known as the one finger salute.
  • 5900 Avoca Oakland, California - Glen Highlands
The street directly across from 5900 Avoca is both heaving and sinking, the road is badly deteriorated and the runoff no longer goes into the storm drain. located on the corner. Plants are actually growing in the roadway due to this ongoing breakdown of the roadway. We get so few services in the hills, example street sweeping, you'd think we could get this problem resolved before it becomes a major issue.
  • Park Blvd (From Oakland High To E-18th Street) Oakland, California - Rancho San Antonio
Lack of Speed Limit Signs on Park Blvd:
Most drivers are not aware of the speed limit on Park Blvd from Oakland High School - E-18th Street
    "is 25 MPH"
    1) We will need to post more speed limit signs (currently only ONE is in place)
    2) We need to educate the drivers about the speed limit.
    3) We need to monitor it.
    4) Then, we need to enforce it and prosecute on those who do not obey the traffic laws.
Traffic Engineering Dept and OPD - we need your help, please

    341 13th Street Oakland, California - Downtown
The shooting on the morning of April 13th outside of shadow ultra lounge makes that the 10th shooting at that address in the last 3 years. That's probably some sort of record. Any chance that the operator of the nightclub could be evicted under the nuisance ordinance? Or do we have to get to 20 shootings before something can be done?

    427-461 48th Street Oakland, California - Temescal
Wire recycling cage ripped off the top of waste receptacle. Hopefully this can be repaired without losing the beautiful mosaic artwork on the outside of the waste receptacle.
  • Lakeshore Avenue And The Cleveland Cascade Oakland, CA - Lake Merritt
As with other pedestrian crosswalks in our community, this one at the Cleveland Cascade has no lighting to alert drivers that someone is crossing. I recently was almost hit when a driver began to brake as I approached and then accelerated through the crosswalk, narrowly missing me just as I stepped out into his or her path. This crosswalk needs the same blinking light system used in other area crosswalks.
  • 5801 Racine Street Oakland , CA - Bushrod

For the past 15+ years, members of the community have been requesting improvements to the "crosswalk" at the corner of 58th & Telegraph. Numerous people have been hit due to the lack of attention and respect by motorist who use this portion of Telegraph as a speedway to get to either Highway 24 or Berkeley. There is definitely not proper signage or lights to highlight that pedestrians are utilizing this popular crosswalk.

Here are a few examples :
Wednesday: The photo attached was taken Wednesday night when we witnessed a man going Northbound on Telegraph almost hit a woman who was crossing the street . All other cars stopped, but he did not feel the need to, shouting expletives and other unnecessary comments.
Saturday: We were hanging our anniversary sign Saturday, and we witnessed about 6 people that were almost hit. I guess getting to the Cal Game was a matter of "life or your death" for some people.
Sunday: Following worship, we witness cars almost hit a man and his family with small children in the crosswalk. The car was in half of the crosswalk! Craziness!

Please address this issue. Traffic studies have been done and nothing has transpired. Previous councilpersons were notified, and nothing was done. We thank you for being swift in this matter.
