    My neighbor is constructing a new home on a very low lying lot in the critical area. His grading right now slopes downward toward the corner of my property and is causing water to pool in the corner of my backyard. He also cut off one of the drains on my property without my permission and is demanding that I make changes to my drainage, but my water is just flowing downhill toward the river as it naturally should. He keeps trespassing on my property and sending me harassing texts and yelling at me. I am a 70 year old widow and he is really scaring me. I think this might be elder abuse. It is definitely harassment and illegal trespassing. Please help me. I also saw him yelling at other elderly neighbors on the other side of his lot. They told me he was intimidating them too.

    Laumann Enterprise runs an business out of this lot claiming to be a tree service with construction equipment. The business has no official tree cutting license. And according to Maryland judiciary case search has been fined several times for it as well as sued for tree cutting jobs and not having insurance. This company digs up dirt from the lot, grades and loads dirt into some kind of contraption used to get rocks and junk out of dirt and sells to the public with no licensing. Company does tree cutting with no insurance or license and brings all their tree cuttings and dumps it at this address. It is a true mess and not something you would want to live next to or buy. I’ve had the unfortunate chance of living near them and it’s time something is done about it.

    The Weatherly neighborhood beach project has had an immediate and detrimental effect on my property. Now, with each high tide, a significant portion of my property is underwater, and sand from the beach is accumulating on my shoreline, exacerbating the issue by trapping water and rendering a significant portion of my waterfront property a swamp.

    Both the engineer the contractor proposed a remedy involving the installation of drainage lines and the addition of several dump trucks of soil/sand and new sod, all requiring permitting. The Weatherly Committee has not been interested in rectifying the problem that arose solely due to the beach project.
    The beach restoration project on the adjoining community property raised the land by a couple of feet and altered the flow of the river with a long jetty, tilting the flow of the river away from the beach and at my property. The water has no where to go but my backyard.

    Changes are required, either to my property or the community property.
