Public Works: Pot hole Archived439-445 Forest Hill Rd Macon, GA, 31210, USA - MaconThere's a big hole where repair work was done recently. Why can't the crews get the road level after they do work? Why don't they come back a day or two later and see if their work as settled in correctly. This spot is on a blind curve and very dangerous.

Forest Hill Rd & Wimbish Rd Macon, GA, 31210, USA - MaconOn the hospital side of the Forest Hill and Wimbish Rd intersection, looking downhill, the traffic light on the right (that is, the one on the Wimbish side, should you choose to go right there) has its yellow bulb out. The green and red bulbs still work, and the left-hand side signal (that is, the one on the Forest Hill side, should you choose to go left there) works properly.

Other Archived558 Forest Hill Rd Macon, GA 31210, USA - MaconThis tree is on the city's right of way now, and due to the road construction that cut back almost to the trunk of the tree down to at least a depth of eight feet to put in new drainage followed by the extremely dry conditions last summer, the tree is dead and dropping limbs on my property. Mainly my concern is that when it falls, it will fall towards my house taking out power lines, other larger and smaller trees and destroy my driveway. It's also only, at most, 20' from a main power pole. As much as I hate the loss of this tree, it's completely dead and a big hazard that will be very costly when it falls, not to mention the pieces that are already falling now. I'm requesting for it to pleas be removed as soon as possible because the ground is getting softer with the rain and storms may take it out anytime now. Also, the sidewalks are about to be put in and I'd hate for those to be messed up in the process as I know they're desperately needed here. Thank you for your time. Best regards, Ginger McNeely 558 Forest Hill Rd. 31210

TRAFFIC ENG: Signal Timing ArchivedForest Hill Rd & Old Lundy Rd Macon, GA 31210, USA - MaconHaving the light is great! Don't have to wait long for lights to change. However, when someone approaches the intersection from Lokchapee and there is no one on the Old Lundy side, only the lights on the Lokchapee side turn green. (I assume the same happens on the Old Lundy side.) This would be fine if the lights included left turn arrows, but they don't. If someone approaches from the Old Lundy side while the Lokchapee side is on green, the drivers with that green have no idea that Old Lundy is red. Can we get some lights with arrows?
