Notified About

  • 1127 5th St Nw Washington, District of Columbia - Mount Vernon Triangle
My service request 14-00197035 was handled improperly. 311 claims there was no trash at the location on 7/29 @ 8am. This is untrue and it was very obviously and clearly located at the curb in front of the house for removal. It remains there right now. It is too heavy to move again to wait an additional 3 wks for it to be rescheduled. It needs to be picked up ASAP. The items consist of pieces of an Ikea wardrobe disassembled and stacked in a pile.
  • Yale Steam Alley Washington, DC 20001, USA - Mount Vernon Triangle
DC Police who lives in neighborhood wants to keep using our alleys to illegally park his car over night. So they can break the law but the rest of us cannot??
  • Montgomery Co/Handicap Parking Washington, DC 20532, USA - Mount Vernon Triangle
MY GRIPE: BLUE CARDBOARD HANDICAP SIGNS conveniently hung on windshield to use a designated space. When leaving space, SIGN REMOVED. Handicap designation should be on rear licence plate to prevent cheaters who got placards from their doctors. I RISK a fine if I should park in a designated handicap space. For most seniors older than 75, still driving, a sympathetic doctor would not deny a request for handicap considerations. I have observed that most use, is for convenience by able citizens.
  • 518 M Street Northwest Washington, DC 20001, USA - Mount Vernon Triangle
Old office chair dumped at corner
  • 10 And Massachusetts Washington, DC - Mount Vernon Triangle

Westbound Massachusetts Ave at 10th NW

Both pedestrian signals out of service on NW corner

  • Yale Steam Alley Washington, DC 20001, USA - Mount Vernon Triangle
Again this officer is illegally parking overnight in our alley. This car creates a visual barrier for people walking in here at night. Very dangerous. And leading by example for others to illegally park there as well.

There is constant gridlock at the intersection of westbound Massachusetts Avenue and H St. entering the 3rd St., Tunnel. There should be a traffic officer giving out gridlock tickets every morning. Maybe that would stop people from pulling into an intersection and blocking the box.
  • 227-233 H Street Northwest ( Westbound H St And Mass Ave Nw) Washington, District of Columbia - Mount Vernon Triangle
I'm sure this has been brought up before... but the timing of the light that allows you to turn left from Westbound H st NW onto 3rd st NW in order to access 395 is a nightmare. I live off of H st and I cannot think of any good reason for the light to be timed so short, especially outside of rush hour. The volume on that section of 395 is generally low and the volume on Mass Ave in both directions isn't too bad, but this light is timed so that only a few cars make it through, backing up traffic all the way to Union Station 4 blocks away. It takes more time to get down H st through that light than it does for me to get where I'm going in Alexandria once I reach 395. It would make it considerably nicer to live in this section of NE DC if that light were even just 2-3 seconds longer.
