    Union Road that leads from Gaston County to Hwy 49 in Lake Wylie...just before the new walmart- this road stays in bad shape!!! they patch these holes and they do not last- there are several and a few bad ones- and I hit one last night and almost lost control of my car, I did split my tire and ended up with a flat-this hole is a crater!!! ..an hour and half later, roadside assistance had my spare on and this morning I am paying $325 for a new tire and $85 for an alignment...thanks SC DOT!

    Roadsides were being regularly cleaned up till last year, with those guys with orange bags picking up all the trash that drivers have the bad habit to throw out of their window.
    Now it seems that the litter pickup service has been suspended and trash lays on the sides of the road for months.
    However, shame on those who treat our roads like dumpsters. Police should start enforcing the law.
