Garnet Valley Nether Providence Glen Mills

Notified About

  • Blue Route Springfield, PA 19064, USA - US Congressional District PA7
Every dingbat day the Blue Route is logjammed from I-95 to Route 1 for no other reason then merging traffic. For the love of Mike, please expand the poorly engineered and outdated highway known as the Blue Route. It takes one hour to complete a thirty minute drive (don't make me mention southbound problems on summer Fridays for the same two lane reason!)
  • Morton Ave-Folsom - Folsom
I just can't understand why this building and property is allowed to remain in such a terrible state. It is on a highly traveled road and it needs to be torn down and the area cleared out. It is staring you in the face as you enter or exit the Acme Shopping Center. The average homeowner in Ridley would never get away with such deplorable conditions, why has this been permitted to go on for years?
  • Providence Rd & Rose Tree Rd Upper Providence Township, PA 19063, USA - Upper Providence Township
Not only do you have to dodge the potholes, Penndot has now added to the fun of a traffic light that if you are on Rosetree Rd adds at least 20 min. just waiting for the light to change to turn left or right.
This is a true disaster and nothing is done. Its amateur hour with this Penndot project. Where are Twp and County officials when they could step in and get the timing of the light corrected.
  • Route 252 And Rose Tree Road - Upper Providence Township
When they moved the old Rose Tree tavern many years ago we all thought that we would get (1) a left turn lane onto Rose Tree Road from southbound 252, (2) a left turn lane for those headed onto Kirk Lane or onto the Bypass from northbound 252 and (3) some safe means of exiting the bypass (when heading west) onto north or south 252. Instead we have total havoc every rush hour. I think this intersection has created more hatred and stress than Al Queda and Palestine combined.
  • Pennsylvania 252 Media, PA 19063, USA - Upper Providence Township
coming off of rt 1 onto 252 in the morning is a nightmare! people coming from media frequently end up stuck in the middle of the intersection blocking people coming off of the ramp from rt 1!
  • 476 South Ramp From Route 1 - US Congressional District PA7
Ever since the County decided to activate the ramp meters during the morning commute, the amount of traffic backed up from Route 1 to get onto the Blue Route is ridiculous. There have been mornings where I wait for 10 minutes just to get on the on-ramp to 476 South. Turn off the meters! They are not doing anything!!!
  • 600-900 Morton Ave Folsom, PA 19033, USA - Folsom
State Rep. Joseph Hackett has asked for a traffic study at the intersection of MacDade and Morton as a result of the tragic hit and run accident that occurred the night of March 10th. The residents on Morton Ave in Folsom have asked for traffic studies for the entire length of the road and have been told that it is a safe speed limit (35 mph in front of Ridley HS)and safe for pedestrian traffic. Rep. Hackett would you please include Morton Ave in your traffic study.
  • 584-598 Valleybrook Rd Media, PA 19063, USA - Chester Heights

On Monday September 19th I watched a Garnet Valley SD bus driver as he drove recklessly on Route 1. He was driving bus number 92 at approximately 4pm. He is an older man with grey hair, I believe glasses, and he wore a red baseball hat.

The bus driver came across from the other side of Route 1 at a high rate of speed and swung into the right lane, cutting me off to the point that I had to slam on my brakes. I proceeded around the bus in the left lane and honked. The bus driver honked back at me although I wasn't at fault. I passed and went back into the right lane.

At the light at Valleybrook Rd, I was braking due to the red light. He came up behind me at a high rate of speed once again. He then slowed to pass me on the right to make a right turn. As he did so he stared at me in an intimidating/creepy way as he passed. His eyes were NOT on the road, they were on me. He even turned completely around after he passed me & while the bus was still moving into the intersection!

I also saw in the back of the bus a kid (around high school age) laying on two seats...his body was stretched across the aisle. This is not safe ESPECIALLY considering the way this driver handles the bus on the road. He is IRRESPONSIBLE, ARROGANT, and his behavior on the road makes the Garnet Valley SD look foolish for employing a person like this. If I were a parent, I would not want my child's safety in that man's hands.

  • Media Bypass Media, Pennsylvania - Upper Providence Township
Every night, Upper Providence Police sit on the shoulder with no lights on looking for speeders but at the same time creating a very dangerous situation. One of them is going to be hit someday.
  • 2001-2063 Pennsylvania 261 Bethel, PA 19060, USA - US Congressional District PA7
The five-point intersection of Foulk Road, Concord Road, Bodley Road & another road that runs from Concord to Chichester Avenue is ridiculous. I traveled through yesterday and was just happy I didn't have to do this everyday. I will say people are polite - or timid - and it takes forever for them to decide if it is their turn to go through the multiple stop signs. An effort needs to be made to bring this intersection together without so many jogs in the road and to get a traffic light. I can't believe there isn't an accident there everyday!
  • 1000 W Baltimore Pike Media, PA 19063, USA - US Congressional District PA7
See other issue across the road. This line needs to be re-painted so drivers know they cannot cross over lanes from Rt 1 onto the Media bypass. Drivers coming from 352 turning onto the bypass have the right of away in the far right lane. Signage should be placed in this area to remind drivers of this (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&q=352+and+rt+1&sll=39.915168,-75.423186&sspn=0.001082,0.003532&ie=UTF8&split=1&filter=0&rq=1&ev=zi&radius=0.09&hq=352+and+rt+1&hnear=&ll=39.915217,-75.423184&spn=0,0.003532&z=19&layer=c&cbll=39.915324,-75.423147&panoid=yrJbk2RTckPBF6BUpjz_Cw&cbp=12,81.63,,0,9.72)
  • 5 Points In Aston - Village Green-Green Ridge
the traffic light for knowlton road is absolutely TOO SHORT, if the first car goes when the light is green, and the last car stops at red, approximatley 2-3 cars get to proceed thru the intersection. most drivers go thru the red light in order to not have to wait. the other lights at that intersection allow 25-30 cars thru
