    Sidewalk - Damage Acknowledged
    1501 Magnolia St Oakland, CA, 94607, USA - Oak Center
    When City repaired sidewalks around street trees several years ago, contractor evidently used construction fill dirt/concrete/debris to fill around street trees. No doubt bid called for landscape dirt at minimum. I just dug up area to install mulch & discovered this, & debris is available for inspection. Contractor should be barred from future city contracts & OPW supervisor should be disciplined up to & including firing for this FRAUD. Look at next steeet tree, 1-2 houses down, for evidence of same fraud. Terrible for trees AND taxpayers.
  • High Street At Railroad Tracks Before San Leandro Blvd. Oakland, California - South Kennedy Tract
    Every time it rains hard, this area east of the railroad tracks on High Street floods. Drainage seriously needs to be improved in that area, and of course it needs to be done when it is NOT raining. Thank you. I am not going to call 615-5566, as it is not raining right now, and what I want is to get this more prominently onto DPW radar. I'm sure you know about this problem, but it has persisted for several years, now, and it needs to be fixed.

    7200 San Leandro Street Oakland, California - Coliseum
    About 2 blocks south of Coliseum BART station on northbound San Leandro Blvd. in #1 lane, there is a really bad pothole. There are some more in that lane and the #2 lane in that same area, but there is one that is so bad that it is hard on cars. Thank you.

    Traffic signal cycle skips Brush Street every other cycle. Brush Street traffic has to sit through two cycles before proceeding. Please fix. Extremely irritating, and people are going to start blowing through the stop light at some point. I know we were all tempted.

    14th St. At Magnolia St. Oakland, California - Oak Center
    There is a cover missing over a hole in the street. Small animals could fall into this hole and die. I don't know what kind of cover is missing, but it is several inches across. If it is something from a utility, then the utility needs to be made to inspect and replace these covers, to protect pets and other animals. It's been missing for weeks or longer. Dangerous!
