That is not correct, this is within the city limits of Albuquerque! There is a city limit sign about 1/4 mile south of this junk area. This is a City Ordinance violation. Check your maps more closely and carefully.
ABQ enforce your codes and ticket this guy who is storing his junk in the streets. . . guess a letter has to be written to the Mayor of ABQ for anything to happen since this issue has been going on for years! armartinez@cabq.gov isn't making anything happen to get this mess cleaned up.
Thank you for your feedback. Per the Clean City Division, the large items have been picked up. The case is being referred to Zoning and Code Enforcement for the other issues at this address.
The inoperable tow truck and old car/truck axles are still littering the street and the frontage of the owner's property. There are also many tires piled up in front of the owner's property. Please take another look and observe closely. Thank you.
Thank you for your comments. They have been added to the case. The owners were notified on September 30, 2010 by Zoning and Code Enforcement to clean up and maintain. The City of Albuquerque's Zoning & Code Enforcement Division has listed this case as being in the "Pending Compliance" state. The city is following the legal course of action to address this issue.
There are still the axles, car parts, metal scraps, and a tow truck that doesn't run and is parked n the side of the street. There appears to be an abandoned/stolen/dumped blue chevy four door car sitting on the side of Hill Road for the 3rd week now.

There is an abondoned blue chevrolet four door car that has been left on the side of the road for a month now, there are still car parts outside the businesses along Hill Road SW. It is still unsitely and the businesses or the City of Albuquerqe need to keep their frontage clean
There is a Ford van parked outside the business, no engine, no visible plates - seems to be abandoned. There are axles, tires, car parts strewn along the frontages of the auto properties on Hill Road and very unsightly. . .
Per the Zoning and Code Enforcement Department, the area is an M2 zone. There are no restrictions on inoperable vehicles and outdoor storage is an allowed use. Only APD can have a vehicle towed on the right of ways. The case was closed on January 11. Thank you.
