I live in the Hampstead area off Washington Acres Road. It is very difficult at times to see clearly in order to left left onto Hy 17 South. The Washington Acres Road goes down sharply at this point ans at the present time, there are two signs near the road that obstruct the view of card coming from Wilmington. While you are trying to see around these signs, you must also be sure there are no cars in the turning lane coming south to turn on Washington Acres Road.
Another problem with this intersection occurs at night. When driving on 17 South toward Wilmington, it is difficult to see exactly where the road is because of the steep drop in the road. The only sign is on the corner that can not be seen when you are trying to turn.
