south side of road brush is overgrown close to side of the road due to bridge over creek. traffic pulling out cannot see east bound west road witnessed several near misses
Allen Rd At Vreeland Woodhaven, Michigan
First, the traffic here is terrible! There needs to be left turn signals. The road is so bumpy it's hard to stop, especially if a bit if ice settles in the wavy pave job traveling east on Vreeland. The sound of large trucks barreling down Vreeland all night is maddening! Whenever a shift lets out out of the Ford plant I can't pull out of my neighborhood. The light needs to function 24 hours, there's so much traffic there at 5:30 am I can't pull out of Coachlight or onto Allen.
The answer is NOT to waste our tax dollars putting a Gibraltar PD officer sitting on his behind in the school district building parking lot, what exactly is he enforcing anyway? No one can get anywhere!!! The light is only 45 seconds long!
Spend our tax dollars fixing the road, adding left turn signals that function 24 hours and reducing the heavy truck traffic that's contributing to the noise, traffic and breakdown of the road in the first place.

This intersection needs to be widened & have a left turn signal or close it off to all truck traffic! When Auto Alliance has a shift change this backs up nearly to 75 & trucks traveling South on Allen trying to turn right to head West on Vreeland can't make wide turn.

This lane is very confusing. I know it is illegal to "ride" a left turn lane, and pass driveways without actually turning left. Not sure if this applies to right turn lanes. There are 3 right turns possible from this right turn lane (2 driveways and Allen Rd). Some people get in the lane as soon as it starts and ride it to the end at Allen Road. I try to wait until I pass the last driveway (as long as no one behind me is trying to pass me on the right). Again, very dangerous when some cars are actually turning right into the driveways. These lanes should be separated by painted lines or even a small barrier (I've seen concrete curbs to seperate the lanes so that you can't "ride" the lane the entire length)

I don't know how to explain this one. They created 2 left turn lanes to enter Lowes home improvement store. This took away the right lane from West Road. This is also the same area as an exit from I-75 that merges onto West road. As you are merging onto West Rd, you have to also merge left because the right lane now ends at the light. If the light is red there is not much room for error when impatient people that are behind you are trying to pass you. It used to be that you could safely merge to the left after the traffic light. Now the distance is to short. I've almost been rear ended twice because when the traffic is backed up from the light there is no way for merging traffic to get over.
This intersection should have never been changed. Please return it to "one" left turn lane.
P.S. This also removed a right turn lane into Mobil, where tanker trucks sometimes come to a complete stop and wait until the gate opens. They used to be seperated from normal eastbound traffic. Now they block the road. All of this was changed so that there would be 2 left turn lanes into Lowes and Kohls which is barely used!

It's very disturbing, interupting and down right unsafe that the trains hold up traffic, sometimes for up to 30 minutes. These trains run: Allen and Van Horn, Van Horn and Fort. Sometimes the length of these trains can run across all of these areas. It is unnecessary and can cause quite a traffic back up, not to mention the hindering of any emergency vehicles that may need to get through this area.

the light timer is absolutely terrible on west road just west of i-75 when the employees from the Ford plant get off work, and other traffic exiting on to west road from i-75 a bottle neck is created at this red light usually at 3pm to 5 pm every day

Northbound railroad crossing on Allen rd. just north of Van Horn rd. in Woodhaven.
When crossing the tracks, stay in the right lane. Left lane will rattle your teeth out and possibly cause front end damage to your vehicle.
