Pot Holes Closed

Pigeon Hill Road Windsor, CT - Windsor

Horrible pot holes are in many areas of this road. It's already a narrow road, making it hard to take some of the turns on a normal day, so these pot holes are making it extremely difficult to drive. You have to drive on the complete opposite side of the road to avoid them, or come to a complete stop if unable to pass them due to oncoming traffic. I'm glad I know where they are so I do not drive over them, as they seem large/deep enough to do some damage to my car!!

Interstate 91 Windsor, CT - Windsor

The HOV lane Northbound approaching the rt 305 exit has had the top surface of asphalt removed leaving a ridged surface and uneven pavement in places. I hit this at speed on my motorcycle last night and it was quite a surprise. A less experienced rider could really get hurt this way. How about a warning sign announcing this hazard guys?

  There has been a rather large LED board trailer indicating "Grooved Pavement Ahead" and "Use Caution" alternating messages at the I-91NB and I-291NB merge for the over the past week.

  I was approaching from Rocky Hill on 91NB not 291. Is there a sign along 91NB from Hartford?

Large pothole developing at the expansion joint, I-91 north middle lane, north end of the bridge over the Farmington river.

Eyesore - blighted building Archived

2-336 Dunfey Ln Windsor, CT 06095, USA - Windsor

This building has been abandoned for as long as I've lived in town. The roof has holes and apparently there's a lot of water damage inside. It's an attractive nuisance and probably makes people cringe when they considering turning onto the street to get to the hotel down the road or to maybe look at one of the condos nearby.

Neighbors say it's got toxic materials inside. There's yellow tape around the entrance. Worse yet, the building is visible from I-91 and makes the town look dumpy.

Really awful strip of potholes Archived

Putnam Hwy Windsor, CT 06095, USA - Windsor

There's a strip of large potholes and cracked pavement that runs a good portion of the highway at this location. It causes a pretty bad slowdown and general traffic hazard with people trying to drive around or slamming on the brakes at the last minute.
