These potholes are still present and are now very deep. They need to be fixed because it can cause serious damge to your car.
There's a pothole on Ellsworth between Chapel and Irving at the edge of a manhole.
The pothole has been filled.
Please fix this pot hole. In order to avoid it you have to drive into traffic. It's been a problem for quite some time.
Update: March 11, 10:35 a.m.
My staff just spoke directly with Public Works Director John Prokop and he confirmed that he will take care of that serious pothole on the stretch of Route 34 from 200-238 Derby Ave.
The pothole on RT 34 would be the State of Connecticut DOT
Further clarification received from Jeff Pescosolido, Chief of Operations at Public Works:
" Depending on severity DPW may assist with temp. repair, info. forwarded to D.O.T. maintenance."
Appears to have been remedied!
