At Elizabeth and North Avenue there needs to be a light or a 4 way stop. Trying to cross North Avenue to Clair St. is very dangerous!

It is almost impossible to leave the Meijer parking lot when turning northbound. There is only one way out of that parking lot and you may sit through 3-5 lights on average JUST to turn left!

  • 2-12 Barbara St Mt Clemens, MI 48043, USA - Mount Clemens

This isn't just limited to the tumbledown house at this address. On just one street alone in this Southeast Mt. Clemens neighborhood, there are three abandoned homes, including one with a totally collapsed front porch. I drove down every street in here, and counted 32 properties (in a neighborhood with only about 150 homes), ranging from churches to homes, that were obviously vacant (structural damage, boarded up windows, litter all over the yard), and many more that were lived in, but appeared to be uninhabitable.
Many of these homes were along the main street (Gratiot) going into downtown - a very high traffic area, and some, although on side streets, were visible from Gratiot. Vagrants everywhere and open-air dealing didn't sweeten the deal either. Something needs to be done here.

  • Elizabeth - Mount Clemens

This intersection has loose boards springing up as vehicles cross and potholes forcing cars to slow almost to a stop before crossing or try to veer around them. There’s no side walk there so the many pedestrians on their way to the County services have to walk across these tracks intermingling with the wayward traffic. We were told right here on this board by the Macomb County Road Commission that this was to be fixed by Canadian National Railroad this summer. Well who believed that? The Church Street and Hubbard crossing are also terrible. Recently an attempt was made to fix the crossing at Church St. with some temporary fill plopped in the potholes that last a few days.
Why wasn’t this perused by all or any of our local officials this summer with the traffic being detoured during the North Ave. reconstruction? Sheesh!

  • 107 S Groesbeck Hwy Mt Clemens, MI 48043, USA - Mount Clemens

Need left turn arrow for westbound Church St traffic entering south bound Groesbeck between hours of 3 and 6 pm. Opposing Meijer traffic does not allow for more than a couple cars to turn and therefore backs up for blocks.
