I am not a new resident of weed road .Been here for 19 years. It is true that all the construction going on at pumping station side of weed road has taken its toll. We don't have any poloticians living on our road so we are in trouble!!!I

    Weed Road has heaves and bumps and gullys that make driving very difficult, if not dangerous in some areas.
    The road has never been this bad- walking is even difficult as cars are trying to dodge holes.
    I don't know how the street department is able to plow snow

    SINCE STOP AND SHOP AND TARGET SPEEDING IS PREVELANT, DISPITE NUMEROUS CALLS TO THE POLICE WE CANNOT GET ANY PRESENCE TO SLOW DOWN. THIS IS DANGEROUS TO OUR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES AND WHEN THE SPEED LIMIT IS 35 THERE IS NO NEED FOR 55 DURING THE DAY AND ATLEAST 65 AFTER DARK! OUR TAXES PAY THE COPS, LET THEM "PROTECT AND SERVE" AND KEEP OUR ROAD SAFE.

    Coming up Greenwoods Rd just passed Nickersons the road is in bad shape. As you leave the stop sign the road gets worse near the crest of the hill the uphill lane is ladden with potholes. At the box culvert water regularly flowes out of the banks and goes over the road. Debris from several happenings is still evident . Further up Greenwoods near the split something has collapsed or there was a lack of compaction as the road dips and rises severely. The stormwater drains are sunken and barely work.

    Coming from rt.183 onto cedar lane, cedar has many potholes, and bumps in the road, all the way down until septic company. Another major problem is a bulge when taking a left onto Colin drive, it makes it difficult to turn, feels like a speed bump, and the plow from the plow truck always slams into it.

    This street is in bad shape and needs to be repaired fast. I have an old car and it's low to the ground by design not by choice. I'm very afraid that I could end up damaging something under the car and I'm not in a position right now with money to have any major work done to the car due to these road conditions.

    The potholes at this intersection are absolutely horrendous, especially at the indicated intersection, but the entire portion from the Onramp to 8-N down to this intersection needs paving. I pound the crap out of my car coming & going to my boyfriend's house. I've already had a shot suspension in ONE car from the city of Torrington's lack of road upkeep, I do not need to have the suspension on my barely year old car trashed too.

    Just after a brown ranch house on the right, just past the field on Rte 272 there is a dirt road. There's a house on that road that lets its dogs bark 24/7. I have been taping this and I have over 150 hours to present to the dog warden. There is suspicion of an illegal kennel as well. I plan on reporting these people to the Humane Society. I am sick of barking dogs-non stop.

    at the top of hayden hill rd,the road is split. There is a 3 to 4 inch lift running down the middle of the road. Cars with a low suspension should avoid this road. It will only get worse as the plows rip the area up.

    when turning up onto kennedy dr from winsted rd there is a large pothole/ bump in road that as soon as you turn onto street you need to slow down so you do not hit the hole to hard and reck your car- slowing down the other day i almost got rear ended because it is going up the hill and people do not expect you to slow down when accelerating up a hill.

    This "island" intersection needs updating. There is too much traffic today to let cars exiting off RT183 onto West Hill Road to cross cars trying to enter RT183.

    Sageway is normally a quiet family neighborhood road however for months now the owner of a Shepard dog has allowed the dog to bark every day around 6:40AM, 3:30PM and off and on between 5:30-9:30PM. This is becoming a big issue which needs attention by animal control. There must be an ordinance concerning nuisance dog barking in Torrington. Please advise.
