Every Wednesday, I go to the train station a bit before 12noon. When I drive on SOUTH FRONTAGE road, between York and College Street, as I pass the Child Study Center, I come upon many police cars parked ON SOUTH FRONTAGE, both sides of the street. Obviously, they have a regular meeting at the Child Study Center, which is laudable, but it is absolutely an obstacle course as 4 lanes are narrowed to 2 bc of the illegal cops' parking and it is dangerous. I have worked at the medical campus for over 20 years, doing laudable things too and have to come and go multiple times in a day and I know there is little parking. As a student with no money, I used to park many blocks away in the Hill and walk through the streets littered with crack and heroin bags. My car was regularly broken into, the radio ripped from the dash until I stopped replacing it, etc. How I would have loved to just park on SOUTH FRONTAGE Road! I now pay a significant amount to buy a parking space in a Yale-owned garage. Sometimes that means a 10-15 min walk each way from my garage to my meeting place, just for a one hour meeting. I can not just park my car on SOUTH FRONTAGE Road bc I do not want to walk a long distance. It is dangerous to park on SOUTH FRONTAGE, which is why neither my fellow Yale employees nor I can park there. Officers, even if it is a one hour meeting and you are on the job, please find LEGAL and SAFE parking places somewhere. The Air rights garage is directly across from the Child Study Center - this would give officers easy access to their vehicles in case of emergency (the ground level is largely vacant of cars).

For the past several weeks there has been obvious drug activity involving this house. A car pulls up,aheavy set black man with a beard comes out of the house gets into a vehicle and they drive away only to return 10-15 mins. later. This is repeated off and on throughout the day and evening. In addition this little buch of darlings started appearing on our porch obviously hanging and waiting for something/one to come out of the house.They left only when I began to take pictures. They call themselves the NEW HAVEN KINGS. Should you see them please report them to the Hill North Police Station on Hallock St.

Why do we in Hill North not have any sidewalks??
I have counted at least a dozen people trip,stumble and fall from this!!

Since 2000 NHPS has sponsored the FIRST robotics competition team that operates out of Hill Regional Career High School. For the 2017-2018 School Year, the team was cut from the NHPS budget. The area between Career High and Sylvan Ave. is DISGUSTING!! The amount of garbage, trash bins, dumped wood and milk crates is getting out of control!! I have sent email to our neighborhood LCI person - no luck! I have called DPW - no luck!! How is it that Yale and other high schools in the city are beautiful and clean and this one in the Hill is the city dump???!!!

There is always cars parked in front of my home blocking my driveway. I live in front of Hill Health Clinick you would think they have enough parking space for their patients and workers. But every day different cars are parked not only blocking my driveway but parked in front all day littering. I called the police wich ticketed two cars today I don't understand why thre isent a sign posted in front of my home explaining blocked driveways!

Hill Regional plowed there parking lot into the street several storms ago and remains there causing a lane closing on south frontage rd. Why do they get a pass card from the city but residents dont

THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF SYLVAN AVE BETWEEN HOWARD AND ELLIOT IS A GARBAGE DUMP!!!! WE HAVE TO SCREAM AND HOLLER TO GET A VACANT LOT MOWED AND THE REST OF THE STREET IS LEFT TO ROT!!! WHY IS THIS STREET IN THE HILL TREATED THIS WAY????
