    I was disappointed to hear that the Maplewood town council had considered a ban on leaf blowers but then backed down. They say that they want a green town -- here is their chance to do something. Get rid of these noisy, polluting, dust-blowing nuisances! Rakes work just fine, don't use any gasoline, don't pollute, and make almost no noise!

    The green light is out at on the traffic signal that is on the corner of Springfield Ave and Indiana Street. The light hanging over intersection is fine it's the light on a poll that isn't working. If you are the first car waiting on Indiana next to Ricardi, you cannot see the light hanging over the intersection so you have to rely on the one that is currently out.

    As you are entering the Maplewood Library parking lot there is usually a car parked on the left of the driveway too close to the drive. This makes it difficult for cars to exit and enter the parking lot.

    By agreement, there was to be no enforcement of parking violations, as long as they weren't abused. But, now cars line the street all day, making it virtually impossible for local residents to park in front of their houses, creating difficulty in pulling out of driveways, and simply contributing to a neighborhood eyesore.
