  • 7677 Oakport Street Oakland, CA - Coliseum Industrial

There are numerous pot holes located all along Oakport Street, and it appears that with all of the rain, the pot holes are becoming bigger and more frequent. This is becoming increasingly worse for all of the people who travel this road daily.

A huge eucalyptus fell on tree in December 2012. The branches removed from roof January 2013. Branches are still on the front lawn, 3 months later. It's a fire hazard as well as a blight issue. (Also, tree trunk is still in backyard and in the creek behind it. It's a city tree)

1237 East 21st Street Oakland, CA 94606, USA - Clinton

I believe E. 21st Street is the worst street in Oakland in terms of quality of cementing, driveability and number of potholes, given the high resident traffic as it is a thoroughfare between 14th Avenue & 5th Avenue. I am hoping it is already on the PW list for complete repaving, but if not, please put it on the list.

  • 1051 46th Ave Oakland, CA - Melrose

Over the holidays an abnormal amount of garbage was dumped all along the street, especially at the end of the street, and every day more collects at the end of the street. The homeless go through the trash spreading it more.

  • Camden Street At 55th Avenue Oakland CA, Oakland, CA - Frick

The intersection of Camden and 55th Avenue intersects MacArthur Blvd in a confusing and dangerous 6 lane intersection. In addition, a brand new elementary school opened adjacent to this intersection in August 2012, with a few hundred new people driving through this part of town who are likely unfamiliar with this unusual and confusing intersection. At the least , the streets here require re-striping, especially the double yellow lines on 55th. They're very worn and barely visible. Possibly this intersection could be re-configured or additional signage could be added to help explain the unusual flow of traffic to drivers. Particularly confusing is that although traffic heading East Bound from 55th Ave continuing onto MacArthur Blvd may be stopped at this traffic light, the traffic in the opposite direction does NOT also have a red light: Instead, traffic heading West Bound on MacArthur Blvd turning West onto 55th Ave have a green light. You just have to experience this intersection from South bound Camden Street, intending to turn left/East onto 55th Ave/soon-to-become East bound MacArthur Blvd to see what I mean. Please re-stripe the streets here in an effort to improve safety and properly demonstrate opposing traffic lanes, especially considering this is in an Elementary School crossing zone. Consider the safety of the children as well, and restripe the crosswalks in the vicinity. Thank you.

  • 2015 Grand St Alameda, CA - Alameda

These Oil storage tanks are rusting badly and are directly across from single family homes. Its curious that the City allowed these homes to be built so close to this industrial petroleum storage facility, as I see children playing very close to this property quite frequently, but can something be done about these eyesores? Aside from the question of maintenance (if Pennzoil maintains the exterior of their tanks like this, what priority do they give for other maintenance and safety protocols?), can the City cite them for being an eyesore (Nuisance Conditions)? The planning department indicated to me that this area has been rezoned as residential and Pennzoil was grandfathered in, but it seems they should be required to maintain their storage tanks properly. Thanks in advance to our City officials for looking into this matter and advising if anything can be done (e.g is there no requirement that they properly maintain and routinely paint these huge, very publicly visible storage tanks?).
