Lansing Board of Water & Light

The power has been out on Denver Avenue in S. Lansing between Grant and Lyons since this past weekend (LBWL service area). I'd heard a rumor that BWL crews were checking this site for outage reports and wanted to add this just in case. :) If any crews are reading this, thank you for all of your hard work--it is very much appreciated!

House has been apparently abandoned since summer. At which time the home owner left two large dogs inside for 6 weeks, unattended without airconditioning in 100 degree weather. The dogs have been removed. However, the house is violating multiple codes. There is a large broken window on the north end of the house, there is no secure closure on this window. There are tires piled up in the driveway. There are stains on the front of the house dripping down the white siding. The BWL has turned off power to the house. There is trash in the backyard (trampolines, debris, etc). Since the house is apparently vacant, it was used during a B&E in which the thiefs hid their bicycles in the backyard to hop a fence and gain entry into the backyard of the house where they broke in.

Would you want this crap next to your property has been like this for months nothing has been done to fix it. There is much more the garage is full of trash, garbage and much more with a falling in roof the garage gets flooded and has live electrical this is a rental house that has not been filed to be a rental

Multiple blocks in Lansing neighborhood near cata #7 busline no power...downed power line across intersection of wabash & stoneleigh

Illegal multiple garage additions and illegal porch roof and ramp addition. All are violating property line boundaries. Property is vacant and becoming a local trash dump. House should be condemd.

Traffic light at oakland and walnut is out. Most drivers aren't stopping ala 4 way stop fashion so be very careful. North of here there are downed power lines and tree limbs N of Kilborn on walnut st.

Someone (possibly during winter) ran over the median on South Washington in REO town, damaging the electrical controller and water valve for the watering (?) system. Additionally, two new trees were destroyed. Water is not actively leaking, but I cannot be sure that the system is working normally (I haven't seen the sprinklers on this year yet). In any cases, boxes and trees should be replaced.

Huge pole barn just constructed in back yard, adding to several other structures in yard. I think he has a business of selling stuff from his home.

Need power restored please have handicap and elderly living here

There are two downed lines on Nipp, just south of W Malcolm X. They are laying across the road. This is right by the parking lot to a daycare, that is open. The neighborhood has power.

Hi! There is a street light on a pole that is adjacent to my back yard, it is in another resident's back yard. The street light shines into my backyard! The issue is that there are no streets for it to light, just people's back yard. I would absolutely love it to be gone. It is noisy and it is bright. Hopefully someone can help us out!
