This whole intersection is terrible and needs to be redesigned. It can no longer handle the traffic flow for the area and is a cause for major congestion

You can hardly drive in either direction if another car is coming the opposite way. Its ridiculous. And when it rains, forget it, you are wading thru inches of water, just to go down the street.

This intersection has become widely used by travelers, especially since the roadwork started on Birch Ave. and Double Trouble Rd. The cars backed up on Surf Ave., to make a left onto Rt. 9 toward the Parkway or continue straight, have become a major problem. It has become almost impossible to make a left turn with all the oncoming traffic. Sometimes, you can sit through 4 or 5 lights waiting for traffic to clear so cars could make their turn. I'm also sure the residents on this street would appreciate the alleviated traffic issue.

Sight distance problem at intersection of Bowline, Mizzen, Railroad Ave's. Vehicles exiting from Bowline cannot see traffic traveling towards Rt 9 on Mizzen. Suggest area be re-engineered to a 3 way Stop on Bowline, Mizzen and Railroad. I have had several close calls trying to negoiated this intersection.

There is a significant pothole on the right side of the road as you head north toward Route 9. It's about 18 inches wide by 2 feet long by about an inch to an inch and a half deep.

Pot Holes Everywhere!

when turning onto locker st off of beachwood blvd.( where beachwood postoffice is) the lines are painted on the road so that if one does follow them they will go smack into a telephone pole. Dangerous for people unfamilar with area or at night when visiblity is poor.

speeding to the point that branches and garbage fly out of pickups on their way to the dump. it is a real hazard to back out your driveway, cross the street or mow your lawn close to the curb

Rt 9 @ Mizzen Ave Traffic Signal, Consideration for this traffic signal was a political decision and not based on sound traffic engineering.
Left turns should be prohibited and all left turns into Pine Beach made at the Gladney Ave light.

Rt 9 @ Mizzen Ave (Northbound) we need a dedicated timed left turn signal at this intersection. The discourteous drivers who will not give a left turning driver a break at this intersection need to be physically stopped at the light to allow northbound vehicles to turn. (25 sec turn signal) should allow cars to turn safely.
