    It seems that the third highest paid police force in the country during Manahawkin's 8 month sleepy season has succomed to either persuing a relentless traffic enforcement program or to sit and lathargically assist in local road construction projects. Do we really need 85k+ armed law enforcement officers to direct Sunday morning church traffic or would it behoove our interest to create a 2 year traffic control officers program in the local community colleges? When it comes down it do they really need more than a radio in case of emergency? We would realize an employment ratio winfall of 2.5: 1 which would sure help the local economy and get people back to work.

    Barnegat Entrance To Parkway Northbound - Ocean County

    When entering Barnegat Parkway northbound
    there is no merge lane. You find yourself
    right in the middle of the cars flying down
    the parkway. There needs to be a longer
    stretch of merge or someone is going to get hurt there.

    It is hard enough to make a right hand turn out of wawa with traffic and it is even harder to go across the lane to make a left hand turn. People should go to taylor lane or lakeside drive to go north on route 9. Left hand turns out of the wawa parking lot are dangerous and numerous accidents have occured.

    Construction going on and speed limit is 45mph..Driver doing 70mph..You have to go with the speed of traffic or you will collide..I never see any troopers monitoring this issue??What gives??

    Do not allow traffic to cross over three lanes to make a left turn. Have all southbound traffic exit onto 7th street then turn left on Central Ave. this will allow them to go through the traffic light safely and not cross over three lanes of traffic to make a left turn.

    DUE TO ONGOING CONSTRUCTION, THE EXIT LANE FOR BARNEGAT EXIT 67 HAS BEEN REMOVED. TO EXIT, YOU REMAIN IN TRAVEL LANE. DRIVERS DRIVING NORMAL SPEED MUST SLOW DOWN/HEED TO EXITING DRIVERS. VERY DANGEROUS CONDITION

    When trying to make a left out of Atlantic Heights it is very dangerous. A sign is needed to let people on Barnegat Boulevard North know that there is a driveway in the bend and traffic will be entering and exiting.
