Other Archived39 North Main Street Randolph, MA 02368, USA - RandolphDo you believe this building could use a few fresh coat of paint? The beautification of downtown plantings, new streets, underground wires and lamp posts look great, however this building is an eyesore. It would look attractive with a facelift of a great paint job. Has the owner of this building been contacted?

Weeds and lawns in the neighborhood Archived378 North Main Street Randolph, MA - Randolph
My concern is has I I drive down north main street I observe the side walks are being over run with wild weeds , and some home owners aren't keeping their yards free of the grass and brushes at a manicured level. we do not want to have ant tick infestation which could cause more problems for both humans and pets, however I have seen improvement with the town doing some great work on fixing things. , I do think that the Town should impose a fine on the homeowners to keep their yards and grass clear of any eye sores or things that is deem to be trash . last but not least , I have also seen trash being put out a day earlier than the designated trash day , this is also a problem , the cats or critters come by and rip the plastic bags open and the trash is all over the street .
Thanks for looking into these matters

Street Light Archived1 Donald S. Mcneil Way Randolph, Massachusetts - RandolphLocated in the Friendly Food Pantry parking lot. The light was out completely last night. Could you please repair this and also make it much brighter between the hours of 5pm to 8:30pm on Mondays? We have a number of elderly clients and volunteers that are having difficultly in this very dark parking lot. It is also frightening for our volunteers to bring out the trash in such darkness. Thank you!

Street Light Out ArchivedRobert Arey Drive Randolph, Massachusetts - Randolph
This light is the 4 pole on the street (the 3rd with a light on it). The street light pole numbers follow the house numbers. This light is right in front of 5 Robert Arey Drive. It has trees that have grown all in front of the light.
This is the 5th time I have reported this issue, previoiusly I had been informed that the tree has to be cut back so I reported that and asked for the town to cut it back so the light can be fixed.
Both issues need to be corrected, it is very dark in the area and due to this not safe.

Housing - Trash/Overgrown Lawn ArchivedPine Avenue Blakely Circle, Kennedy Drive, cedar avenue, Randolph, Massachusetts - RandolphSomething really needs to be done about the accumulation of trash in this area. So many of these houses have large amounts of broken furniture, old appliances, old computers, TV's, tires, and just plain trash stacked up in their yards. There is litter all over yards, sidewalks and the roads. It's a disgusting eyesore that has been reported numerous times with no follow up. It is not fair to neighbors who take care of their property. It brings down the property values of the whole area.

no sidewalk Archived12 Cedar Avenue Randolph, Massachusetts - Randolphwhen people walk up the hill at night along cedar ave you can't see them and there should be a side walk for them to walk along instead of middle of road

Other ArchivedBlakely Circle Randolph, Massachusetts - RandolphSomeone on Blakely Circle owns a motorcycle with a modified muffler that is extremely loud. They drive very fast through the neighborhood to either Oak Street or North Street and can be heard for quite a distance. It happens often enough to become a disturbance to residents in a widespread area.

Run down community ArchivedEntire Town Randolph, MA - RandolphWhile driving around town many of us have become increasingly bothered by the run-down condition of properties. Overgrown grass, untrimmed shrubs, weeds covering sidewalks, trash piled up in yards, and litter everywhere. Homeowners (and this includes absentee landlords) need to be held accountable for the condition and upkeep of their property. There are by-laws on the books pertaining to property maintenance, and these laws need to be enforced. There should be a system of warnings and fines for non-compliance. As it is now, many neighborhoods have the look of a run-down, blighted community. This is a quality of life issue.

Housing - Trash/Overgrown Lawn Archived14 Sullivan Drive Randolph, Massachusetts - RandolphA rental family (I think they were renters and I'm not sure if they were all family) have recently moved to brockton and there is trash in the front yard. this house has been neglected by the landlord and also needs maintenance (new front steps, power wash exterior, trim overgrown bushes, etc..) please contact landlord and advise. This has been neglected for many years since the nice elderly lady that owned and lived there died.
