The digital sign for the east-bound M34 bus stop on the South side of 34th street at 10th avenue is broken. It is the sign that tells commuters how many minutes until the next bus arrives. It is extremely helpful because it determines if I walk a few avenues over to find a different way home. It is not a corner I feel comfortable standing on alone at night.

Feb. 3, 2011, 9am, nypd shaking down cyclists, issuing tickets alleging running red light ($270) w/o proof. Avoid this ambush spot if possible.

The red light running and speeding is dangerous to employees and residents. how about a red light enforcement camera?

The MTA is creating a huge hazard on 10th Avenue. They have cordoned off the east sidewalk entirely for equipment to build the subway extension. However, this neighborhood has nightly Art receptions. Patrons are forced to walk north on the street itself--facing traffic at night--in order to get from 25th to 26th st. Many of these pedestrians are coming from a gallery where alcohol was served. It's only a matter of time before there's a fatality. Most egregious is that it's clearly visible that the space cordoned off is not being used at all.

other nearby streets have good examples. this street is very wide, which encourages speeding thru the neighborhood well in excess of the posted limit.

Every weekday morning, FedEx workers sort packages in the 6th Avenue bike lane. There is almost always room for them to sort elsewhere, but they choose not to.

FedEx, please inform your employees that such actions are both illegal and highly dangerous.

please someone fix this huge pothole in the street that makes very loud sounds when ever car passes by.
