This home has been vacant for over 2 years. The rear of the house is falling off and the old aspestos shingle siding on the front and sides of the house are falling off. Windows are broken, letting wild animals take occupancy. The front porch is nearing collapse. This property needs to be torn down before someone is injured.

There are at least 10 people living in 2903 Fendall Avenue, and they are not all related. Sometimes there are multiple adults, and there are always multiple kids. They are a nuisance to the whole neighborhood. They kids do not always go to school.

Maintenance work processed on gas lines/meters in the summer of 2010 - workers equipment has destroyed the curbside. Erosion is occurring down into the roadway - storm water drains are being blocked. Requesting curbs be restructured.

Trash and debris from owners Super can, spills over and is again strewn all about the alleyway. This is an unwelcome sight to both pedestrians and vehicular traffic. Asking the city site the owner for littering, not monitoring the Super Can from the alleyway access and failure to upkeep her fence and property from her fence line to the middle of the alleyway.

On several occasions it has been noted that men are going into the rear of this property, pulling down their trousers and using the bathroom [squatting position]. They then proceed to undress and change into other clothing. Entire process is in the corner near the satellite dish. Police have not had time to respond. Backyard is unsecured as the gate is off the hinges.

House was posted with a red sticker on Thursday July 21,2011. Uninhabitable - One unit no water/electricity. Another unit ceiling falling in. Three apts. - six tenants are still dwelling in units. Four have health issues - 3 of which are breathing. Juvenile tenant of lower unit has just scrapped off the sticker from the window. Cnclmn Hilbert is aware of the problem as is the landlord/owner. Something needs to be NOW

Will the City please write this property tenants a ticket for blowing their front yard leaves into the street. We just had leaf/street cleaning last Wednesday. A sign was even posted in front ofd the house before the cleaning. She waits until the street looks great then blows all her yard leaves into the street. She should be ticketed and made to pick them up, bag them, and place them in the alley for trash pick up on Wednesday Mornings. PLEASE HELP US! We are trying so hard to clean up our neighborhood. This was blatant insult after we cleaned HER PART OF THE ALLEY of debris and bulk dumped items.

Tree on the south side of the property is dead. Large limb fell on the adjacent property, 2907 Barton Ave., during the last strong. Dominion Va. Power had to restore power. Requesting the owner of the property address the issue and have the tree removed. Tenants are not concerned.

Bats seen flying inside upper units. Smell of feces prevails.

This residence has been known by neighbors to be an illegal boarding house. Over the last 6 months known drug dealers and users have been frequenting the residence, most coming from 2820 Hanes Ave and 2817 Fendall Ave (Joette Cannon). Until recently neighbors have ignored the fact that it's used as a boarding home but now it is more of a nuisance and neighbors are concerned with the caliber of people visiting the house. The tenants of 2822 Hanes also routinely sit on the front porch smoking pot during the day and especially on weekends. Blunt remnants and pot seeds can be found in the ashtrays sitting on the porch.
