    I called Comcast to get an accurate download speed, but 3 techs and their manager could not verify my download speed. They kept trying to up-sell me to another package for an additional $10.00 a month. Which they would not be able to very either. The basic internet service does not support DOCSIS 3.0. Which is needed for video streaming without constant buffering. Roku, AppleTV, boxeebox, Chumby, Uebo, Bigstream all digital media receivers work best on the new Internet protocol. You have to pay more to get a modem that supports it. Even with that Comcast can't very the download speed. They misrepresent their download speeds. They claim to offer the fastest service in my area but they can't confirm it. All monopolies suck!!!

    The side of the Comcast building (on Chapel between Olive and State) always provides an unsafe situation. The 1/2 block is dark, dirty (discarded food, broken glass, leaves, etc.), and has all these alcoves where people sit and could hide. As a female who regularly has to walk past at night, its disconcerting.

    On Wednesday 8/28/2008 at 5:30pm, a Comcast truck, Connecticut license 58C 655, ran a red light and made a right turn before stopping on Edwards St., narrowly missing a family with small children and a stroller that was crossing Whitney in the crosswalk.

    There are 3 low post lamps on the sidewalk on Chapel street running along the side of the Comcast building between Olive and Union streets.

    It is a very dark at night because these lamps have been out for a long time and is a dangerous problem for walkers. I have spoken to UI Light the Night people and they say it is a city problem. Please get them fixed as soon as possible.
