  • 3338 Bona Street Oakland, CA - Bartlett

A huge eucalyptus fell on tree in December 2012. The branches removed from roof January 2013. Branches are still on the front lawn, 3 months later. It's a fire hazard as well as a blight issue. (Also, tree trunk is still in backyard and in the creek behind it. It's a city tree)

  • Abandoned UHaul Acknowledged
1111 Pine Street Oakland, CA - Prescott Oakland Point

A UHaul was abandoned across from 1111 Pine Street two weeks ago.

The truck displays no license plate or registration, the engine block has been removed...but the back of the truck has a new padlock on it. Neighbors confirmed that it doesn't belong to the nearby salvage yard—so it needs to be towed.

  • Graffiti Acknowledged
    840 51st Street Oakland, CA 94608, USA - Longfellow

Stop sign at 51st and west streets is defaced so it says "stop OPD." We would really appreciate a new stop sign. Thank you to pub works.

  • Train tracks Archived
1530 Wood St Oakland, CA - Prescott Oakland Point

Wood street from 12th through 27th could really use train track removal and/or painted stripes indicating lanes. Wood is really well traveled now and people are all confused as to where to drive. Traveling on the tracks is hazardous to a vehicle.

  • 5422 Shafter Oakland, California - Shafter

There is a tree that is blocking the street light causing a very dark stretch of sidewalk. Last week there was a armed robbery in this stretch so the neighbors are eager t o get the tree trimmed. It's only a few branches that would need to be cut back.
    Thanks!

  • 838 53rd St Oakland, California - Santa Fe

There are crack houses, there are serious crack houses, and then there is the wonder that is 838 53rd st. If there was a video game where at the end of each level you battled against a crack house, 838 53rd st would be the final boss and it would be so hard that even the most skilled gamers would thrown down their controllers in defeat.
    Fencing of stolen goods? YES!
    Underage prostitution! @#$% YES!
People yelling and fighting in the street at all hours! YOU BECHA!

There are often so many people buying crack at once that it creates a backlog of traffic in the street, like a well established drive-thru crack restaurant with a full menu of illegal wares. Apparently this is A-OK with the city of Oakland because this crack house has been growing at an alarming pace despite numerous reports from neighbors.

  • Lakeshore Avenue And The Cleveland Cascade Oakland, CA - Lake Merritt

As with other pedestrian crosswalks in our community, this one at the Cleveland Cascade has no lighting to alert drivers that someone is crossing. I recently was almost hit when a driver began to brake as I approached and then accelerated through the crosswalk, narrowly missing me just as I stepped out into his or her path. This crosswalk needs the same blinking light system used in other area crosswalks.

  • 934 46th Street Oakland, CA - Longfellow

This service request was first submitted 1/8/13 when it was a deep pot hole. it has continued to expand and is now a trench. Neighbors put a EBMUD warning in the larger of the two holes to prevent serious accidents. only the standard pot hole acknowledgement from the City has been noted. please drive out there an see this. it needs attention.

  • 61st Street And San Pablo Oakland, CA - North Oakland

This intersection is blighted not just because of the auto parts store parking lot, but the turn lane curbs are completely cemented, thus, unlike other areas up san Pablo toward Ashby, we are not able to plant small flowers to make the intersection less blighted. We'd like the city to remove the concrete fill between the curbs at each turn lane; we can bill with dirt and plant small flowers. We want to reduce blight and reduce murders here; 3 within block this year. Your support in prioritizing our request is appreciated. (we're open to removing the concrete as well).

  • 3053 3099 Martin Luther King Jr Way Berkeley, CA 94703, USA - South Berkeley

There is a lot of construction around the Ashby BART stop but nothing has been done about the ridiculous amount of litter that just keeps piling up around the perimeter. It's disgraceful.

  • 3701 3799 Beach St Oakland, CA - Prescott Oakland Point

There are at least three piles of trash on Wood Street under the MacArthur Fwy and where the Railroad tracks cross. Furniture, mattresses, random strewn garbage, and miscellaneous construction debris.
