Notified About

  • Brownleigh Drive And Glenwood Ave Raleigh, NC - Northwest
The entry into Brownleigh Business Park onto Brownleigh Drive from Glenwood is very dangerous. The crossover for west bound traffic is mis-located 50' too far east for this turn and makes a west-bound turn very dangerous. An east-bound turn is lacking a de-acceleration (from 45 mph) exit lane - also very dangerous. Persons wanting to go into the business park must go up to Ebenezer Church Road exit and enter the park from the back entrance. This is unknown to many visitors and very inconvenient to workers in the business park.

7579-8009 Westborough Dr Raleigh, NC 27612, USA - Northwest
The entrance to Westborough needs new pavement markings. There needs to be a significant double yellow line that directs to flow of traffic into the Restore further back Westborough. Because of their dated driveway style curb, folks enter their lot at all points, which often backs up the flow of traffic. Ppl often stop right after turning on Westborough bc they are confused by the lot and where to go. Restore needs to make improvements to their lot to accommodate the flow of traffic that will inevitably become more congested with the Sheetz opening across the street. There needs to be a white arrow where folks can enter their lot as well as a long double yellow line down Westborough. The light coming out of Westborough also needs new arrow markings so folks know which lane turns left and which lane goes straight/right.
  • Ebenezer Church Rd/Marvino Lane Raleigh, North Carolina - Northwest
Auth RPD lights are on flash at this location
  • Lake Boone Trail And Blue Ridge Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Northwest
The hundreds of residents and dozens of businesses between the belt line, Lake Boone Trail, Blue Ridge Road, and the NCMA are increasingly frustrated with a lack of right-of-way exit from (and at certain times of the day entrance into) the community. Our subdivision main entrance--no left turn allowed and right turns must yield to oncoming traffic AND u-turnning traffic. Harden--left turns impossible most times, right turns yield. Nancy Ann--left turns impossible most times, right turns yield. How do we go about requesting stoplights at Blue Ridge/Harden, Nancy Ann/Lake Boone, and Myron/Lake Boone and what volume of traffic would be required? Harden is being used as a through street/short cut off of Blue Ridge to avoid the light at Lake Boone Trail.
  • 4216 Weaver Dr Raleigh, NC 27612, USA - Northwest
The intersection of Weaver Drive and Duraleigh Road is a terribly dangerous one. Cars entering and exiting (especially exiting) the Oak Park neighborhood are constantly having to dodge cars speeding on Duraleigh Road. There are many accidents here with injuries. During some parts of the day it is nearly impossible to access Duraleigh Road south from Weaver Drive with the number of cars traveling at high speeds on Duraleigh. Some folks have even taken to going north on Duraleigh and making a u-turn at the quarry entrance because access to Duraleigh south is so perilous. Has there ever been a study on putting a stoplight at this intersection? If not, could a study be initiated?
  • 6730 Fleetwood Drive Raleigh, NC 27612, USA - Northwest
The newly erected sign at the corner of Glenwood Ave and Fleetwood Rd (next to Capel Rugs) is glaringly bright! It interferes with safe travel southbound on Glenwood Ave at night.
Raleigh ordinance states that "the light intensity or brightness shall not interfere with the safe vision of motorists" and I fear that this sign does just that! Take a ride out there one night to see for yourself.
  • Sidewalk Archived
8919 Scotch Castle Dr - Northwest
There is a lot of foot traffic on this portion of Ebenezer Church Rd, people in the area walk and bike this way to get into Umstead Park, but there is a lot of traffic and very little shoulder so it's quite dangerous. The area would benefit from a sidewalk or wider paved shoulder and a bike lane.
